The Pub Sports Bar isn’t just another place to grab a drink and catch a game—it’s the result of a dream years in the making. Owned and operated by long-time Utah locals James and Suzanne Young and Curtis George, The Pub is built on the idea that every neighborhood deserves a place that feels like home.
For years, James and Curtis proudly operated Bout Time Pub & Grub locations in Layton, Herriman, and Tooele, establishing three of the most beloved sports bar destinations in their communities. As time went on, they felt inspired to break away from the confines of the franchise model and pursue a vision that was uniquely their own. That vision came to life with the addition of James’ wife, Suzanne, whose fresh perspective brought new energy and creativity to the team. And so, The Pub Sports Bar was born—an independent, community-rooted brand built on genuine relationships, local pride, and the same exceptional experience their guests have come to know and love.
At The Pub, it’s all about the details: fresh food made right, friendly service that feels more like catching up with old friends, and a wall-to-wall sports setup that keeps you in the action no matter where you sit.
